Rocks and Water

My experiences at Stonehenge and the Roman Baths are ones that I will never forget.  I will cherish all of the moments I had at these historical sites.  The times spent at these monuments will always be remembered and enjoyed.  I will never forget the moment I saw Stonehenge for the first time or when I got my first look at a Roman Bath.
I have always wondered what Stonehenge would be like to see in person.  I have heard stories from friends and family members about what it was like to see one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world in person, but I wanted to experience firsthand.  On the third night as I was going to bed I pictured how I thought it was going to look.  I then fell asleep to these thoughts and slept the night away.
When my alarm went off precisely at 6:15 on the fourth day I was ecstatic.  I knew I had a big and event packed day ahead of me.  After I showered, ate breakfast, and packed for the day my roommates and I headed down to the lobby of the hotel to await for the arrival of our coach bus.  Our bus arrived and it took about five minutes for all fifty-two of us to load ourselves onto the bus.  Once we were on it was time to depart.    We had a long two hour car ride ahead of us before we got to thee Roman Baths.
After two hours of silence in our bus we had arrived tho the Baths.  It was a very beautiful sight to see and we were all snapping pictures of the city and vast countryside.  Once our bus arrived in the actual city we made our way through the narrow and windy streets.  We were then dropped off and our guide, Cornellius, took it from there.  He directed us to the entrance of the Baths.  It was finally time to go in!
I was amazed as soon as I took at my first Roman Bath.  Even though the water was green and probably filled with disease I really enjoyed seeing such a historical sight.  We continued to walk through various rooms, some much like the first and others completely different.  Once all of the students and teachers finished walking through the Baths it was time to load back up on the coach and travel to Stonehenge.
It was another long, sleep filled bus ride.  Almost all of the students fell asleep at some point on the trip.  Once we became closer Cornellius started to talk on the microphone and give us some more knowledge about Stonehenge.  We arrived at the parking lot and there it was!
I was pumped from the moment I set my eyes on it!  We started the long walk to the site.  We then had to wait in a line so Stonehenge wouldn't become overcrowded.  Finally, a man came up and let our whole group through and we were on our way.  The site was set up so people could continuously flow by and see it.  You had to walk in a circle, marked by fences, around the whole site.  You could take pictures with friends or just of the rocks.  The only rule was you could not go past the fence and up to Stonehenge.  It was an awesome experience and one that will be remembered forever.
Overall my fourth day was may favorite day spent in London.  I enjoyed the calm bus rides, the Roman Baths, and Stonehenge.  There was not one part of the day that I didn't find interesting.  I really did enjoy all of it!  I hope that later in life I will be able to travel back and see these terrific sites again.
